A Bold Reimagining Of An Iconic Toronto Building
Portions of the existing building will be designated as heritage property, ensuring its preservation. Much of the former Weston Bakery’s existing brickwork will be retained, while glass-encased units will also be added to the upper portions of the building on both street-facing sides. This will increase the site’s livable space while giving the project a distinct and tasteful hint of contemporary flair. There will be 286 residential units comprising of a mix of hard lofts, soft lofts and condos. In addition, townhomes will be constructed on Logan Avenue.

The dining and retail strip along Queen Street East is just to the north, and anchors the vibrant neighborhood of Leslieville. A variety of other amenities are also available in the area:
- To the east is the Toronto Beaches neighbourhood, with its scenic waterfront boardwalk and eclectic shops and restaurants.
- Cherry Beach is also in close proximity, along with Tommy Thompson Park and the Martin Goodman Trail.
- A number of independent grocers are within walking distance, while Loblaws and FreshCo are also nearby.
- Jimmie Simpson Park is within walking distance, and provides a charming recreational space for neighborhood residents.
- Gerrard Square is a short distance to the north, and is home to an array of major retailers.
Wonder Condos is just steps away from the Queen Street, allowing easy access to Downtown Toronto and points to the east and west via streetcar. The King streetcar is also within walking distance, while buses along Carlaw provide service to the Port Lands and Queen’s Quay East. In addition, a major transit hub is planned for the area, and will be served by streetcars, GO Transit rail service and the new Ontario Line subway. Upon its completion, residents of Wonder Condos will be just steps away from some of Toronto’s best transit coverage.
