The area surrounding Westshore boasts close proximity to Lake Ontario, as well as excellent transit coverage and a plethora of retail and dining amenities:
- Lake Shore Boulevard is lined with a diverse array of shopping and dining options.

- A series of smaller waterfront parks are also within walking distance.
- Humber College’s Lakeshore Campus is just a short streetcar ride to the east.
- The large Sherway Gardens Shopping Centre is just minutes to the north.
The #501 Queen streetcar provides frequent service to Humber Bay, Downtown Toronto and points to the east. During rush hours, it is supplemented by the #508 Lake Shore streetcar that directly serves the Financial District via King Street. Both routes, as well as a number of TTC and MiWay bus routes, feed into Long Branch GO station. The station is served by Lakeshore West line trains at frequencies of 30 minutes or better seven days a week. In addition, drivers can take advantage of Minto Longbranch 2’s close proximity to both the Gardiner Expressway and Highway 427.
