St Clair Village: Development Info
Current plans call for St. Clair Village to consist of single-family homes, situated along peaceful residential streets. All home will feature modern aesthetics both inside and outside, with balconies being present on the third floor of each. While further information regarding other features and amenities is not yet available, it will be added to this page as soon as it is released.
St. Clair Village sits within walking distance of some of Toronto’s most vibrant neighborhoods and retail districts:
- St. Clair West Avenue is just a short walk to the south. To the east, this major thoroughfare is known as Corso Italia-and is home to numerous Italian shops, restaurants and other businesses. Further west lies the Stockyards District, a former industrial area that has been transformed into a large shopping centre.
- Earlscourt Park is also a short distance to the south. An expansive green space that also includes a pool, it plays host to a bevy of cultural events throughout the year.
- No Frills, FreshCo and an array of independent grocers have locations in the vicinity.
- Big-box stores such as Canadian Tire, PetSmart, Winners and Home Depot are also easily accessible.
TTC bus route #47 runs directly in front of St Clair Village, while the #512 St. Clair streetcar is just a short walk to the south. Connections are available to Line 1 Yonge-University (at St. Clair or St. Clair West subway stations) or Line 2 Bloor-Danforth (at Lansdowne station) via the #512 or the #47, respectively. Additionally, the Eglinton Crosstown LRT will feature a station nearby at the Eglinton/Caledonia intersection upon its opening in 2022.
