A long-awaited high-density residential development is finally on its way to a prime site near the Scarborough intersection of Sheppard Avenue East and Warden Avenue. This will be the future home of Pinnacle Toronto East Condos, a two-tower high-rise in development by the acclaimed builders at Pinnacle International.
As reported by Urban Toronto, Pinnacle International acquired the site after an original development oriented towards the 55-and-over demographic fell through. A series of zoning applications culminated in an April 2019 Site Plan Approval submission for a stunning new community that will include luxurious condominiums and a limited collection of urban townhouses.

Pinnacle Toronto East Condos: Project Overview
These striking new Scarborough condos will rise in a pair of richly coloured high-rises, including matching east and west towers. Both towers will offer floorplans in one-bedroom, one-bedroom plus den, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom configurations.
The entirety of the project will be realized across three phases, with the first phase including the two towers and a shared O-shaped podium. Phase one will deliver 629 suites, broken down into:

- 43% two-bedroom units
- 5% three-bedroom units
Later on, an accompanying mid-rise structure will be added to the podium, offering an additional 206 units. Projections indicate the retail facilities will be broken down into small units, making it likely they will offer niche services targeted at residential demographics.
Most suites will feature inset or projecting private terraces, and a landscaped courtyard will add relaxation value to the O-shaped podium’s outdoor quadrangle. Based on Pinnacle International’s existing property portfolio, insiders believe this new community will offer similar amenity features such as aquatic centres with activity programs, fully equipped fitness studios, Pilates and yoga workshops, premium suite finishes, and a long list of luxurious interior options.
Fairview Mall leads the list of local attractions. The surrounding neighborhood of Tam O’Shanter – Sullivan also features well-developed residential infrastructure with a wide range of essential services including supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, banks, drugstores, and everything else residents need for day-to-day living.
Public transportation highlights include close proximity to the Warden TTC subway station and the Agincourt GO Transit station for fast, easy trips to and from Toronto’s downtown core. The 401 is just a few blocks south, and the Don Valley Parkway, 404, and 407 highways are also mere minutes away.
In the future, the location could further benefit from the proposed construction of the Sheppard East LRT rapid transit line. If built, the Sheppard East LRT would add another highly convenient transit option that would pass right by the Pinnacle Toronto East Condos community.
