1319 Bloor West Condos: Development Info
Current plans call for the two towers at 1319 Bloor West to rise to heights of 33 and 31 storeys, respectively. Together, they will house 634 housing units, which will be divided up as follows:
- 59 studios
- 251 1-bedrooms
- 259 2-bedrooms
- 65 3-bedrooms
The two buildings will share a podium, which will range in height between four and seven storeys. At the centre of the complex will be an 867 square-metre park space. Most notably, the entrance to the new Bloor-Lansdowne GO station (scheduled for completion in 2024) is planned to be incorporated into the development – giving residents direct access to both the rail station and the multi-use path planned to be completed as part of the project.
1319 Bloor West lies where the neighborhoods of Bloordale Village, Brockton Village and Junction Triangle meet. All three are vibrant communities packed with amenities, and residents will be in walking distance of all that they have to offer:
- Bloor Street West is packed with a diverse array of shops and restaurants, with cultures from all over the world being represented here.
- Loblaws, No Frills and a long list of independent grocers are located just minutes away.
- The West Toronto Railpath runs a short distance to the west, and provide a protected north-south walking and cycling route throughout the West End.
- Dufferin Mall is located a short walk to the east.
- Toronto’s new Museum of Contemporary Art is situated just west of the rail corridor.
Lansdowne subway station is accessible a short walk to the west, and is also served by local bus routes. However, the area’s primary transit coverage will soon come from GO Transit. Entrances to the new Bloor-Lansdowne GO station will be incorporated into the 1319 Bloor West project, and upon its scheduled completion in 2024 will feature service every 15 minutes seven days a week upon completion of the Regional Express Rail project. Additionally, Bloor GO/UP station is just blocks to the west, and offers a one-seat ride to both Downtown Toronto and Pearson Airport.
A One-Seat Ride To Anywhere
The direct integration of Bloor-Lansdowne GO station into the 1319 Bloor West Condos community gives residents a level of transit service that is virtually without parallel in the city. This, combined with easy access to the subway, the Union-Pearson Express and multiple vibrant neighborhood in the vicinity, has led industry insiders to anticipate high demand for these new Brockton Village condos upon their release.
