About Us
With a history stretching all the way back to the 1930s, Tridel is one of the Greater Toronto Area’s most knowledgeable and effective developers. Yet despite this considerable expertise, the company does not rely on experience alone when bringing their projects to completion. They have instead used that experience as an essential building block in the creation of thriving and livable communities, as well as committing to sustainable practices at every step of the development process.
Founded by Jack DelZotto in 1934, Tridel is now led by his sons Angelo, Elvio and Leo. In recent years, the company has embraced a set of sustainability initiatives that they have termed “Built For Life”. A major part of this plan is that Tridel developments most stringent environmental standards. As a result, their buildings are more energy efficient than their peers, and the company has been behind over 20% of Canada’s LEED®-certified condo buildings. Tridel also recently opened a NetZED suite in their Aqualina condos-solar panels produce all energy in the apartment. Tridel prides itself on innovation, and they strive to find and implement the latest and most environmentally-friendly materials and technologies. The company then takes advantage of them to create communities of which residents are proud to be a part of.
Previous Projects
Aqualina at Bayside. In addition to the NetZED suite on its penthouse level, Aqualina is designed to maximize the amount of waterfront views. The surrounding area along Queen’s Quay East is well on the path to being one of the city’s most dynamic. The building contains a pool and guest suites, while Beanfield fibres are available. Both the Distillery District and St. Lawrence Market are a short walk away, and the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail runs right outside.
10 Bellair. Located in the heart of one of Toronto’s most prestigious neighborhoods, this 27-storey tower is a modern take on life in Yorkville. 10 Bellair includes a pool, a sauna and a landscaped rooftop garden. While it also includes an underground parking garage, the sheer number of shops, restaurants and public transit services located nearby do not make owning a car a necessity.
The Verve. Rising to 44 storeys in total, The Verve includes two-storey loft apartments in addition to standard condominiums. The building also boasts an extensive amenity list. Residents and their guests can enjoy the rooftop pool and hot tub, as well as a fitness centre. All units include floor-to-ceiling windows and private terraces.
