About Us

Through a diverse array of projects, TAS prides itself on building with the public good in mind. Improving sustainability and helping create vibrant neighborhoods are the company’s two highest priorities. In order to achieve positive results in both categories, the company has assembled a highly experienced team of city builders who bring decades of experience to the table. In addition, TAS is a Certified B Corporation-an elite group of companies deemed to have met high social and environmental standards. It is also a founding member of the SVX Social Investment Platform.

TAS has made incredible strides in incorporating sustainable technologies and business practices into its development process. The company’s head office is powered entirely by renewable energy, and the recently opened M5V Condominiums are LEED Gold-certified. However, TAS recognizes that while environmental friendliness is an important pillar of a successful community, it is by no means the only one. The company works to ensure that their architectural designs blend seamlessly with the surrounding neighborhood, while also enhancing them through public realm improvements. In addition, input from both community leaders and local businesses is included throughout the development process. TAS is also a firm believer in giving back to these same communities, and allocates space for urban agriculture wherever possible. By providing fresh fruits and vegetables, these gardens benefit both new and longtime neighborhood residents.

Previous Projects

M5V Condominiums. This LEED Gold-certified tower offers all the luxuries of downtown condo living. The King streetcar runs right out front, while Union Station is a short walk away. In addition, the shopping and dining options of Spadina Avenue are just steps away, as is the Entertainment District. Available amenities include a sun deck, courtyard, yoga studio and exercise room.

DUKE Condos. The Junction is one of Toronto’s hottest neighborhoods, and this architecturally unique development sits at the center of the action. In keeping with TAS’s tradition of community improvements, DUKE includes numerous retail options at street level. The area is perfect for foodies, as some of the city’s hottest restaurants are mere steps away.
