About Us

Since its founding, Lanterra Developments has built a reputation for innovation and transparency. By assembling a diverse portfolio of mixed-use developments, Lanterra has helped shape Toronto’s cityscape in immeasurable ways. In addition, the company has committed itself to meeting the highest standards of environmental friendliness in all of their buildings. As a result, the company has been honored with numerous industry awards, including winning Best High-Rise Building Design at the 39th BILD Awards.

Lanterra’s history began in 1999, but the company’s story stretches back much further. Founders Mark Mandelbaum and Barry Fenton have been working in the GTA’s development industry since the 1980s. Together with COO Christopher J. Wein, they have positioned Lanterra for continued success-and a key part of that success comes from a focus on sustainability. The company incorporates energy efficient lighting and plumbing in its buildings, and uses the most cutting-edge material and technologies available. In addition, the company works closely with neighborhood residents and organizations to ensure a positive outcome for all involved. Finally, Lanterra Developments firmly believe in giving back to local communities. Since beginning its charity initiative, it has donated to numerous local organizations-including several local food banks and the Sick Kids Hospital.

Previous Projects

22 Condominiums. With just 158 units, this 24-storey tower offers a more intimate living experience. The surrounding neighborhood teems with shops and restaurants, as well as numerous parks. In addition, Wellesley Station is just steps away.

Riverhouse at the Old Mill. Surrounded by the lush greenspace along the Humber River, Riverhouse offers a tranquil escape. Nestled in Etobicoke’s most historic neighborhood, the area surrounding the building in very pedestrian-friendly. Inside, residents can take advantage of a steam room, a hot tub and an exercise room.

One Bedford at Bloor. There’s no other way to say it-One Bedford is perfectly situated. The University of Toronto, Royal Ontario Museum and many other notable landmarks are a short walk away. In addition, much of the city is accessible through nearby St. George subway station. Available amenities include a pool, a hot tub and a yoga studio.
