About Us

Gemterra Developments Corporation has been behind a number of residential and commercial developments throughout the Greater Toronto Area. In either case, they have maintained the strongest commitment to functional-yet-visually appealing interior and exterior designs, built environments rich with amenities, and the use of only the highest quality of building materials. Throughout the development process, the company relies on the considerable expertise of its team members, who bring to the table extensive knowledge every step of the way.

Gemterra was founded in 2010 by Yan Wang, who continues to serve as company president. Under his leadership, the company opened its first major residential community in 2014. Formally called LOVE Condos, it was designed and built in recognition of a major trend driving condo construction in Toronto: transit-oriented development. Situated just steps away from several major transit corridors, LOVE offers a car-free lifestyle. This style of development proved popular, and Gemterra quickly followed it with several more that followed a similar model-to the same positive reception.

Gemterra Developments Corporation: Previous Projects

JOY Condos. Completed in 2018, JOY rises to a height of 21 storeys and includes 282 units. The surrounding neighborhood provides a transit-friendly environment.  Agincourt GO station is just steps away and offers direct service to Downtown Toronto seven days a week. Inside the building, residents and their guests enjoy access to a wide array of amenities, including:

  • Barbecue patios and a rooftop terrace
  • Fully-equipped fitness centre

  • Guest suites

LOVE Condos. This 21-storey, 296-unit building was completed in 2014. Like JOY Condos, it features excellent transit coverage. Frequent bus service along Sheppard Avenue and Kennedy Road offer easy access to a variety of popular local destinations. Additionally, drastically improved service to Downtown Toronto will be available upon the completion of the SmartTrack project. Available building amenities include:
