Dunpar Homes

About Us

Since its inception, Dunpar Homes has recognized the development potential of aging commercial and industrial sites. They saw that these could be transformed into thriving, livable communities. In order to provide residents with a comfortable living experience, Dunpar uses only the highest-quality building materials and state-of-the-art construction techniques. In addition, building interiors are designed to seamlessly integrate modern and traditional patterns.

Dunpar Homes can trace its history back to 1981. Founder John Zanini built his first homes in Cabbagetown (the name Dunpar comes from the two streets closest to where they were located-Dundas and Parliament Streets). Since then, his company has worked to revitalize communities across Toronto, and to do so in an environmentally friendly manner. Dunpar locates its developments close to areas that teem with local amenities and recreational spaces. This allows residents to live car-free if they choose, and be a part of a community they can be proud of. The company also aims for high levels of sustainability in their homes, and makes energy-efficient plumbing and lighting fixtures standard. Finally, John Zanini’s history as a millworker has given him a superior eye for craftsmanship. This trait has led to Dunpar Homes becoming an industry leader through impeccable design and quality.
