About Us

In the years since its founding, the key to success for Carttera has been its innovation and foresight. Anticipating the Ontario government’s push towards increased density, the company has begun a shift towards revitalizing existing sites across the GTA for both residential and commercial uses. This has led to the creation of award-winning buildings that seamlessly blend old and new-the historic past and the modern future.

Started by T. James Tadeson in 2005, Carttera has been on the cutting edge of industry trends. Tadeson and his team pride themselves on producing results that maximize benefit for clients while improving the surrounding district. Never is this more evident than The Ninety-a development that helped change the character of a neighborhood.  Sitting on a formerly industrial block southwest of the Queen and Broadview intersection, this stunning development helped revitalized an area that has since become one of the most popular and trendy in the city. In 2014, citing its fusion of 1900s architectural elements with modern ones, Urban Land Institute named The Ninety one of the finalists for its Global Awards for Excellence (making it the only Canadian building to qualify). With its talent for innovation, combined with its reputation for stellar asset management, Carttera will continue to play a major role in the GTA’s real estate industry.

Previous Projects

The Ninety. With easy downtown access via two high-frequency streetcar routes, this masterpiece of urban regeneration is perfectly situated for young professionals. At the heart of this unique development is a full-size courtyard that serves as a common space for residents. The building also includes high ceilings and a rooftop patio.

Oneeleven. Located in one of the most exciting neighborhoods in Toronto, Oneeleven stands as an architectural landmark along Bathurst Street. The building includes a rooftop deck, visitor parking and a concierge, as well as featuring nine-foot ceilings in all its principal rooms. In addition, barbecues and pets are permitted in the building.

Cloud 9 Condominiums. This exciting new development brings downtown-style living to northern Etobicoke. Situated just steps away from the Humber River and its adjacent bike paths, Cloud 9 offers a peaceful locale to call home. Available amenities include a pool, a rooftop deck and a party room.
