Allied Properties began as a developer of commercial properties. They specialized in the conversion of former industrial structures into vibrant office and retail spaces. The effect of this has been twofold: the buildings themselves are revitalized and remade to serve a new purpose, while the neighborhoods around them are transformed into vibrant districts teeming with eclectic shops and restaurants.
In recent years, the company has aimed to take the same approach with residential and mixed-use communities. All of Allied Properties’ new developments are located in areas undergoing high rates of urban intensification, in addition to being pedestrian-friendly and boasting excellent transit links. They have taken their eye for good design, and used it to create residential spaces that offer both visual appeal and comfort. At the same time, ground-level retail serves to integrate the new building into the neighborhood and provide a more desirable streetscape.
